Hi, I’m Susan and thank you for visiting my blog! I am a Christ Follower, wife, mother, and foodie. Cooking for those I care about is one of my favorite things to do! I’ve lived in the South for most of my adult life and fell in love with boiled peanuts, camo, hydrangeas, saying y’all and fixin’ to.
I started this blog not because I ever saw myself as a writer, but because I felt like God was telling me to. I wanted this blog to reflect me, a little bit of Jesus, food and some sass! I have been a bit nervous at putting my heart out here on the web, but I like to say, if you’re comfortable then you know you aren’t growing. Writing about what the Holy Spirit is speaking and teaching in me has been so awesome! My hope is that others make a connection with Jesus in a way that feels like we’re just having a simple conversation.
