For a while now, I’ve been totally diggin’ the worship music aspect of church services. The songs today were amazing. Exactly what the Lord wanted me to hear. One of our worship leaders mentioned that the Lord knows us. He knows EVERY hair on our heads.
As I sat before communion thinking on this, I was thinking what keeps me from being in true wonder of God. My need for control. I’m scared of not having control. Pride, control and fear of the unknown hold me back. Then I came to a realization. How can I be fearful? If He knows every hair on my head, He knit me in my mother’s womb, He knows my prayers before I speak them, how then can I be scared? What is unknown to me is known by God, the path is already laid by His Divine hand. I only need be faithful, obedient and present. “My confidence is in Your Faithfulness.” (Yes and Amen, Chris McClarney Nate Moore Tony Brown)
